    Been away for a day or so, but like the colors of that Squirrel tail, good job! Good looking stuff for sure! Agree with Adam and I also like to use a small collar with a flair or ball on the end of it to help not only control thread width, but also give a little lift to the hair so it flairs just a little.

    Thanks Skip.I am going to tie my next squirrel jigs with the smaller collar.Makes sense that it would give the hair more action instead of locking it down like i have.Thanks.

    The jig hooks are made by strike king and usually found in a large white box on the bottom shelf under the Mr.Crappie Jigs and reels hanging on the racks.
    I have seen them in a couple walmarts now and always a dollar a pack.There are 7 or 10 jigs in a pack.Several different colors and sizes.

    Let it me know if you change you mind. I’d like to have 5 or 6 to start off with. I like them with the threaded neck like that.
