    Default Plastic hook covering.

Ok -- so question -- i just purchased two Strike King Banshee Series spinner baits -- they come with plastic safety coverings on the main hook and trailer hook -- I just had a not so pleasant time removing the plastic from the hooks with a pair of my good lure making scissors -- they are not easy to remove -- do any of many fellow anglers out there have any experience with removing these plastic guards without poking and cutting yourselves -- it just doesn't seem user friendly getting these off unless I am missing something -- thx all.

Pocket knife and skin one side off. Just like stripping the coating off electrical wire.

SHARP knife or xacto blade. Some of the ones I dealt with were real flexible and didn't cut very well, made me nervous being that close to my hand with a disagreeable piece of stretchy plastic.

They should pull off easy But like do you above I would use a pocketknife And cut them off Or you can take a small pair of scissors Slip it into the end and cut them off.
