    Those are pretty nice!

Our group normally back-trolls pulling crawler harnesses behind bottom bouncers. I've tried to get some of them to try jigging, but they are die hards and won't try.

Therefore, I have very little jigging experience up there to know what works the best. I guess I should take some hackle jigs and try those too.

My wife and one of my sons are going this year, so I will have more chance of jigging with them.

No offense to forum members, but toe There's nothing quite like eating fresh-caught walleye! Crappie and perch are a close second though.
I have heard they are good table fare, but I have never had any so wouldn't know. Y'all have a great time and catch a bunch!

I used to fish Canada a lot. Then I learned that the worlds best Walleye fishery was in my own back yard and that put an end to it.

My dad with a 14 3/4 pound fish. Caught and released 19 fish over 11lbs that evening.

All very very nice jigs CD!
Can't imagine any one of those not catching fish.

Dunno if I missed this thread but it's a weird coincidence that I opened it up while we're on our drive to Canada at this very moment.

Maybe I should have added some flash?

Anyone recommend any other color patterns that might work well? The water is pretty clear up there!

When I fish jigs in Canada I usually tip the jigs with a dead hooked salted minnow. I use a minnow head jig dressed with craft fur. When the fur gets wet it folds around the minnow and looks like one unit with minnow scent. For clear lakes I use Char. green or white fur with a a red stripe I call a bleeding minnow pattern.
I am sure your patterns will work fine.

I was thinking of tipping them with a piece of nightcrawler, since we will be trolling with those anyway.

A piece of crawler will work well for some added scent.
I just got back from the MW Angle Ontario side and all I used was a BB, smile spinner, and slow roll hook with part of a crawler. C&R'ed well over 50 walleyes a day with some nice fish in the 18 to 23 inch range.
