We get them form the theflyfishingstore in Mountain Home.Flyfishingarkansas.com.We fish them under a float.Float and fly method. The crappie really like them too.The Tour Guys are stocking up for Smallmouth here.

Size: 17.9 KB 3/16 tungsten beads,#6 or#4 matzou black nickle sickle hook"Hooks very slick"slides over barb easly. We fish these under a float for trout and crappie.Hardly ever lose one catch a 100 trout on one jighead on a float trip. The small barbs of the matzou allows us to fish through barbless area's.We discovered they are very deadly on crappie.Where the leadhead hangs up on brush and rock's the tungsten slides right through. We have tried painted beads for some reason the non painted slides through the rocks and brush better than the painted.Good fishing. Jack.

You can also get slotted beads that really slid over the barb easy! You can even get them faceted. They come in sizes from 5/64 (2mm) up to 7/32" (5.5mm). Some non faceted beads from 1/16" (1.5mm) to the same large size 7/32".

You can also get the non faceted one is lots of colors, some just color or even FL colors, but also some Metallic colors as well.

However not cheap and I see packs of 10 or 20 depending one which ones. The packs of 20 are like $6 - $7. So not exactly low cost compared to lead heads! However don't need to paint them, but maybe cry a little if you loose may in snags, lol!
