    Default size 10 crystal chenille

I finally bought a few packs of size 10 crystal chenille to experiment with the full body look and after a few jigs being tied I have the hang of it. got the junebug, dirty chicken, blood runner and silver for starters, man this stuff is beautiful! I found that it gives the best look when not crowding the wraps at least for me anyway. when I overlapped the wraps like I do with size 2 or 3 it seemed to take away some of the brilliance if that makes sense. I put a little zap a gap glue on the hooks shank before wrapping. the blood runner and junebug are flat out brilliant. I can see why skip has been using this stuff, and I can see how it would slow the fall of a jig which is good for specks, I have flashabou for tail trailers but with all the flash on the body I didn't think I needed it.

I have been using that stuff for a long time now, probably 5 years and have a lot of #10 and some #12 and even a couple #8. Love the stuff and makes such a great looking jig. When it gets wet and used it kind of lays back to show even more color and flash! Just awesome material!

I should have said except Pearl while talking about it laying back.

I too love it. It seems to really slow the fall of the jig. I always have one rod with one on.
