They look good for your first try. However videos are good, but some are not telling things as they should be IMHO! Many are very good, but I would tell you spend some time on the lessons at FAOL. It is where I learned most of what I do and still check back from time to time. They have beginner, intermediate and advanced. Yes it's flies, but if you want to do something just find a pattern they do using what you want and copy how they did it. It's all pictures with tutorials and very good stuff. They also have a huge tips page you can look through and learn some good stuff! It will also teach you a lot of this language which is very different! I did all this long ago!
Click on Fly Tying then Beginning Fly Tying and go from there and after you learn all you can there go to the Intermediate Tying!

If you keep rolling your own, there are many more places to get materials than BPS. Usually cheaper as you get more for your $. I have bought a lot from Crazy Angler Tackle. They have good service and a good selection of products. Just an FYI.
Yeah there seems to be no shortage of materials online. Npt knowing where to start i figured bps would be a good place to start. I bought a new boat There so i get 10-20% all purchases
Good looking jigs for the first run, and Welcome from Central Florida. Don't let the smaller stuff put you off, they're easier than they would seem
