    Default Make Overs


    Most of the commercially made ice fishing jigs are set up for using live bait. I have found that adding some feathers,fur,or rubber hackle really enhances the jigs.
    Live bait or scent can be added if needed but most of the time the jigs can be fished bare bones.Name:  IMG_2945.JPG

    Nice, would probably work well under a float too.

    These are winter jigs and make for a good horizontal presentation with a jigging rod. With a slight rod twitch the hackle moves.

    For summer I use a KISS bug under a balanced bobber. They work quite well when there is some wave action to move the rubber hackle. A slight rod twitch will activate the hackle also.
