    Yes they will.

Brett, try the hot shot comet flies also. Have had good luck with them. You can tie in soft hackle or saddle hackle like I use.

Just know not all bead chain is the same size either and if you buy them they come in colors too! However the ones hanging on your lights or fans in the house are good too! Always save the bean chain for anything that has them once they stop working.

    good looking flies Stump!

    Tell me about those hooks,
They look long but the eyes turn up 45 degrees?

    Thanks

With fly hooks you can get turned up or down or just straight eye! Most every brand has one of each in each style hook. All depends on what the pattern calls for usually!

Thanks for the comments Brett and Skip. Skip I ordered some small chains a few months ago that are molted pink and molted olive, should give a great look to the flies. They sure do have a lot of colors to use. LOL can't seem to stop ordering more tying materials.

Brett the hooks are TMC 5262 2x long. The eyes turn up on most streamer flies. Think about how the line runs down through the water to the fly. With the hook eye turned up at the angle as you work the fly it will not dig into the bottom of the river/lake. You can find other model hooks to use as long as they are streamer hooks which should be 2x, 3x long.

LOL, Stump I fell off into that stuff several years back and now have a huge amount of beads in both brass and tungsten as well as some other little goodies (oh and I should not forget all the barbell eyes, LOL). Now am about to mess up again and have been sucessful staying away for a few years now, but it's calling my name again and that is the Cones which I have some, but now more are calling me as well maybe even the Fish Skulls and evven find myself looking at the Nymph Evolution heads. Oh my I can see it now my next order will soon have some of this stuff in there, LOL!

I have managed to stay out of ordering much for over a year now, but feel the need coming since I need to order some feathers anyway, but I feel my order size growing fast!

I started looking at those cone heads and ran-----very fast! Some of those are clean off the charts. Great looking ties Stump, my crappie would fall prey. Just had the buggy whip out Saturday and got a few gills. Painting bead chain with appliance epoxy paint is durable and gives a few options. The middle gets covered anyway so they paint pretty easy.
