Done a search yesterday for lil no alibi jig(used in 50s and 60s) last one i bought was in Taft fl in 1965 used them for flounder but would like to buy or tie some for specks but they are like hen's teeth. Did find a couple of good articles in the archives by guys that are familiar with the jig. Am i out of luck finding a picture of one or a place to buy them??--thanks for any help.--shu

Yep that's a jig currently being sold - the pic was more for the jig head shape. I know which one you're talking about but I'll have to root around to see if I can find a pic of it.

Got to looking at fishing tackle this afternoon and found an old 4 tray jig box and in it are 10 no alibi jigs, yellow, white and green plastic w/white feathers. will take some pics and take a couple apart to see how they're put together. Can't remember where they came from, does that mean i'm getting past prime or just have too much fishing stuff????--shu

I have made a version for fresh water but never for salt water. The fresh ones worked pretty well for the guy I made them for...lol. If I could just remember where I put those pictures...lol..of all the fish he caught..

A guy in Rock Hill SC still makes the alibi jigs. All the local tackle stores has them in all the colors that he makes them in. I ordered from him maybe 15 years ago and he would only do $50 and up orders. His name is James Covington and is getting up in age so I'm not sure if he sales to the public anymore.
