    Default Fly tying vises,,,

As most of you know,,I recently moved up to a rotary style jig vise and just wanted to share with you alittle,,,, if your an avid like builder like a lot of us are here, you might suggest buying into or at least looking into buying a true rotary jig vise,,,, I went from a stationary type vise like my Regal medallion into a true rotary vise cAlled the Norvise,,,, The difference at first seemed really small,,,, but as I learned to use the rotary part of this vise. Things started to move along now quite nicely,,, and now that I use it a lot,,, I feeel I couldn’t live without it if I want to make jigs at a faster pace,,, not only faster,,, but better,,, this baby lies down thread flat and fast, which gives me more time to do things I normally don’t think twice about,,,I really really like this new vise and I can’t wait to learn more tricks…. Thanks for listening,,,, Takeum

Anyone interested in a lightly used Regal Medallion vise with waste basket,,,she’s for sale,,, $250 Shipped to your door,,,

Good to hear the Norvise is working out for you. Good Regal vise as well. Do you have a backup vise?

I have been using a Nor-Vise for something like 12-14 years and love it! Great vise and the attachments now are better, lol! The original off set jaw was not as good as it is now for sure! I still use the straight jaw even though I have both the new and old kind of jaws.

one of the best things really is their auto bobbins because when you want to rotate the vise you just hang the thread and bobbin over the post and after you finish just pick up the bobbin and let it auto wind the thread back to tying position!
