    Hey ship, show my 13 year old your thread last night and he made some jelly/hackle jigs last night. We didn't have the regular jellys. We took soft plastics and cut them then threaded them on. Worked really well. Mama was very impressed! Thanks for your hard work coming up with this and posting it!

    When tying up jigs it's not expensive just buy a little at a time .I do that and I finally have every color of bucktail and flash.just need some hackle looking to get better at making jigs.

    that gives me a idea i will keep my jig hooks after the rubber deteriorates or gits torn off . will try by cutting up some old bass worms i have . those hair jigs are good on lake blackshear .
    retired and now i will always fish
