    Default Red Rock

Anyone having any luck? Seems like the bite is pretty spotty right now. People I am talking to also are not having much luck down there. I would think it would be lights out right now but I haven't experienced that yet.

Fished the lake by RR with Reasonable luck yesterday, WT 70 all females still had eggs. early morning were in 5' of water but by afternoon had moved to 10'. Water looked excellent. RR looked terrible with lots of floating debris. 742 normal pool- 746 today with 748 projected so won't get much better for a while. Seems like every year about spawn time this happens!!

Went out on Saturday morning for a little bit, yeah there is debris everywhere. Kept a few nice ones to eat but most were small and got threw back. Didn't see many people catching anything except a sunburn.

Last week late gave RR a try, debris floating everywhere and water was stained. Didn't have any luck and quit after a few hrs. May be better this week as they are lowering the lake which will move the junk to the shores. Due to drop 2' by tomorrow, not sure if this throws the fishing off?

Slow any time I have been there, marking fish in WB but none interested. Heard rumor of around Marina Bay a few being caught. Fri. the water looked good and normal pool. Not many crapppie fishing from what I could see, mostly white bass fishing.

I went out a little on Sat morning and caught a few crappie. If it wasn't for the white bass, drum and catfish, it would have been a very slow morning. Everyone else I saw fishing were either pre-fishing for the catfish tournament on Sat or trolling for white bass.

Crappie Masters is there on this Saturday. It will be interesting to see what the weights are. They are going out of Elk Rock ramp so expect that ramp to be an even bigger sh*t show than a normal Saturday.
