Sad how things happen
You might as well write West Boggs off due to the pollution that has been affecting the lake. So you treat the lake, clean out the sediment ponds, doesn’t solve a thing. Especially when you can count on the north side of the lake alone, 24 turkey barns with runoff from them alone. Majority of water that enters Boggs is from the west when it rains and god knows how many livestock and animal barns are in that coverage. They have known about the pollution issues for the past at least a dozen years if not longer, and didn’t take any actions then.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Very disappointing…….used to be one of the best…. Matter of time for fish kills and over fishing destroys that lake

That lake has been polluted for a long time. The water even stinks there. Amish have over fished it & Dogwood. Both used to be good fisheries but not anymore.

They had some serious fish kills this summer with tons of fish floating on the banks reported by friends that attempted to camp with their kids that pulled out of the campgrounds day after they got there and tried to get a refund to no avail, due to this issue.
