Thread: Missy update

Didnt make it out this weekend. Too busy yesterday and weather was garbage. Should be able to get out on wednesday though hopefully i can find a bite somewhere.

My next chance will be Thursday so I'll report back then. Any word from anyone on how it's been ? With the cold temps and wind I can't imagine it got better from when it was 70* and sunny, which wasn't great to begin with.

I have seen on facebook a couple guys killin em last 2 days wading the river. Im not sure where there at and know better then to ask lol.

Was able to get out tonight. Had an idea where the fish may be since they shut off the spillway. So we headed down river from the resi and did some wading. Took us a while to find them but when we did it was good action. Mostly nice black crappie. Think i only had 1 white crappie out of the 15 i brought home. My cousin was with me and kept 12 and also caught a bonus 20 inch walleye. Ill be out again tomorrow or thursday.

I plan on getting out thursday morning.

Went out this morning and covered a lot of river. water was clear and slow , A little higher than a week or so ago. Got into some white bass in small scattered groups and one nice smallie, but not a single crappie all morning. The fact that not a soul was out but me was a good clue the bite was cold. Not sure where they're at now, had some co workers tell me they got skunked at missy and sally so who knows. Colder rainier weather coming in and the lake is filling up, so other options besides the river will be taken. That's all I got gents, carry on.

I went out after work yesterday to the same area as tuesday. Bite was not good for me. A lot of fish have been taken from there this week so not surprising. One guy kept his limit 4 days in a row. He had 23 when i seen him yesterday. I caught maybe 10 total and only 1 was good size. I gave up pretty early yesterday was not in the mood to go hunt em. I would think lake should be close to getting good but the way this years been who knows. Im going to try and get out in the morning somewhere before it rains.
