    Default 4.5 Inches of Rain.

Watch out for high water and floating debris if fishing in central and southern Indiana lakes as we received over 4.5 inches of rain from last nites and early morning storms. During one wave, I had 4-5 lightning strikes on my 40 acres of woods near the house as well as 35 or more within a couple miles of the house as it was really wicked for about 30 minutes.

If you were in the direct line of last nites storms,,you got pounded. According to the Corps Lake levels. Patoka got 0.9”, Monroe 2.4”, Cat got 0.3”, Raccoon got 0.0” and I imagine Lemon got at least 2 or more. Wind today and chance of more storms Sat, and Sunday. It’s a crazy spring for sure.

We didn't get big amounts of water here but while sitting on our back porch we could see Bloomington (25 miles as the crow flies) directly to our west covered in Black.
It broke apart and the big stuff missed us.

We still have serious flooding here. A lot of farm fields will have to be replanted. The county spent a week in this area grading gravel roads and a lot are washed out in places. It’s a mess and depending on more rain,,,East fork of the White River will flood as it’s now bank full and already in spots out. Just don’t need any more rain here but it’s coming this afternoon.

I wonder how Monroe is looking? Did it miss most of the earlier rain but got it last night? It looked steady when I checked yesterday but now the inflow is up a bunch.
