    Default Thinking Of Selling

I bought this pontoon and everyone said they would go fishing which we did 1st couple yrs I had it but now everyone is too busy with life in general since covid. Cant get anyone to go fishing so going to probably sell, looking for idea on value in current market.Engine is a low hr(165-180) `02 Johnson 70hp 4 stroke that was serviced last summer, starts on bump of key, tilt/trim and sips fuel.
Has a Motorguide Xi5 w/bluetooth GPS 55# thrust, Lowrance HDS 7 Touch Gen 2 upfront on trolling motor, Humminbird Mega Chirp,DI on console Gen 3 brand new replacement from Humminbird screen fell out of my Gen II, very very low hrs. Boat is a Suntracker 18` Bass Buggy Signature Series w/aluminum floors so will never rot.
Has electric anchors that work fine except the front one keeps wrapping rope up around spindle and is currently caught and needs unstuck.
Has newer backseat and redone console seat w/live well. 2 brand new oversize front seats and bases.
Floor has been done w/tough coat, not neatest job but easy maintenance a lot better then nasty carpet.
Also comes with 2 Spyderloc 3 rod holders for spider rigging and a spyderlock 3 rod rail mount for catfishing etc.New or newer batteries and 2 newer on board chargers.
Comes with life vests, 2 new fire extinguishers, extra anchor etc.
This boat is set up for fishing not swimming etc. I do have the original stereo but no speakers if a person wanted to hook back up..

Would appreciate any help on value book value says like 8900.00 but thats with Generic trolling motor, depth finders etc.
I have stripped all the old decals, striping off outside of boat to repaint or put new decals on but havent done it yet so boat is basic white right now.
Will get inside pics when rain stops and can take cover off.

The scissor jack on tongue is welded on and I use it to raise lower onto hitch with a 20vlt Dewalt impact and socket, a lot easier then cranking on trailer jack handle, it does have a regular jack back on frame.. also comes with brand new spare and tires that have low miles.

You can do alittle research on craigslist, boattrader.com, iboats.com as well as pull it to a couple of dealers as a lot of dealers buy used boats right now to resell to get a idea of what your rig is worth.

Wouldnt sell to a dealer they buy wholesale not wanting to give it to them.I will probably just list it on Indiana boat classifieds, junk ones really ragged out are selling for 2-3 grand w/o motors or ones that don't run or need work.

Ask higher than you are willing to absolutely sell it for and go from there.

thanks that's what I will probably do, hate to sell it but don't want it just sitting that's how they do turn to junk.

With this junk gas these days you don't want these motors sitting long without being run. I had that problem with a with one of mine. The carburetors get all gummed up & jets get plugged.

One reason I run 0 ethanol gas only and still use Star Brite. I run it in my mowers, saws, etc.

Glad you got it sold. You planning on getting another boat ? I know I had a fishing pontoon a few years ago. I sold mine to get something easier to load & unload by myself. Pontoon was just to much work by myself. I got a small fishing boat now. It's a lot easier when fishing alone.
