    Default Knats are back thick!

Knats are back if your cleaning fish outside. They will eat you up. I used to use Buggins or vanallia but last year found Bug Soother on Amazon.com. Works for about 4 hrs and does work very well for keeping the Buffalo knats from eating you up.

I would notice them down at Waveland end of summer the start of fall. I use to get made fun of after I pulled out my bee suit head mask, but after a while asked where can I get one.

We sometimes throw on a bug net to go to mail box or mow grass if I decide not to spray down also wearing a lightweight long sleeve shirt. We have a lot of backwater beaver made swamps close by also. So we get hammered every early spring summer warmups especially with all these rains. Just have to improvise as to what works best for you.

I was at Steinhatchee a week ago and the winds were a blowing. As soon as they quit blowing here come the sand gnats. They swarmed and bit and swarmed and bit. A man gave me a bottle of some sort of elixir and it worked great. Thirty minutes later though the gnats were no longer afraid.

    Does this stuff last ?
Maybe they will bite this one……

It lasts about 4 hrs depending on how thick you put it on. I spray down,,the neck, ears face, arms, wrists hands especially when cleaning fish as water will dilute it and they will hammer the wrists while wearing a long sleeve shirt also. When the knats get their worst,,,I go to my bug net and still spray down when cleaning fish.
