Celina lake handicap pier would be a be a better chance to catch some decent fish, plus less likely to catch some TICKS. In my humble opinion.
I got to find a place to take my young grandson bank fishing.
Kings Bridge use to be pretty good at the "ramp" and on the upstream side.
Is it still pretty easy access?

Kings Bridge is still accessible but you will mostly catch small crappie at Patoka. No size to them.

and if it has to be Patoka then the Osbourn ramp has a real nice pier. Still, as others said a lot of smalls, but you can take a folding chair and be comfortable.

We wet a line down at Kings Bridge, it wasn't too bad. Pretty busy for a Thursday night, I would hate to see what the weekend looked like.
Might try down at Walls ramp next time. There was some room for bank fishing by that ramp at one time.
He is just about to turn four, he needs lots of room to cast the wrong way. Fewer people around the better right now.
The handicap pier down at Celina is nice to look from, but not handy for a little guy to cast from.
thanks everyone.
You might also check Jackson ramp. There is also quite a few places to bank fish at Painter Creek Ramp.
