I don't know if you'd call it lucky or not, we could use a little here, but we got zilch.

We needed rain as we are about 4” down in this part of southwestern Indiana for the year. We got 1.3 total. 10-25 miles north and northeast, they got pounded. West fork of White River is rising fast. Cataract is up over 5’ and Monroe has bounced up about 3’. Lemon is up, full of debri again and muddy. Heck of a year making fishing hit and Miss due to rough water.

Wife and I tried to get to Lemon from the east yesterday but Helmsburg was under water and we could get no further. We then headed back to 46 and headed to Monroe. Along the way we saw several trees and lines down and a lot of high water. At Monroe we found a spot to fish from bank and the small Bluegill were caught non stop and I caught 1 2-3 lb bass and another smaller one.
    We had a fun day.

Wife’s nephew has a landscape and lawn service. He has 8 crews right now out around Lemon and Monroe trying to clean up yards and property from trees down. He said Lemon was a mess this morning. They are still clearing driveways and road ways even to get where they need to work. People still without power also.
