    Oh, I know that right! Back in the day, when I lived in Chicago,IL. I remember taking a ride to the forest preserves on the SW side to see them (cicadas) and they would fly in the car if your windows weren’t closed. Pulled over, got out of the vehicle and took it all in. Will never forget that experience. I think if I lived in the vicinity of those first preserves, my attitude would be the same as yours - big time hassle.
