Default Caught some good black crappie today

Went out this morning before the rain started, and managed to catch 17 keeper crappie (over 11"), kept 15 that were all between 12-14". I was sight fishing them in 2 ft of water. 1/64th hair jig was best, but I broke off 4 big fish, not sure why as it was new line. Won't be using it again. Down to 1 of my hoarded thumpit jigs now.

They were up fanning beds on the lake I was on, and if you dangled a little jig in front of them they'd eat it. Was entertaining to see how fast they can suck in a bait and spit it out in the clear water next to the boat.
