Went over salamonie 2/28, still had ice over most of it at the dam. Was pretty muddy in the open water, and they were letting out a ton of water at the spillway. Missy river has come way up, and the lake is supposed to rise about 10ft by thursday. Wouldn't think there would be any ice by this weekend with all the water running into it.

Don't plan on fishing below the damn at Sally. Everything has been shut off on both sides of the output area due to the construction and reconfiguration of that area. I knew it was going to start sometime but didn't expect it to get started this quickly. There's an article on it on My Fish Finder under heading "Get Ready on the Resi's". The project was in our local paper and it said it was to be completed by 2070. I just can't believe it would take that long to finish.

That's what I thought also. I haven't been able to find the info on line. I'm sure it's there somewhere. It's pretty extensive work they are doing. A bunch of work at the spillway and then they are moving some island upstream from the spillway opening. They can't work during fish spawning time and something to do with bats in the area. There seems to be something else but I can't remember what it was.

Missy was really low yesterday, muddy and slam full of fishermen. We left with 13 and the water temp was 50-51
