Thinking about going to dogwood lake soon. I’ve never been. Are there any bait shops nearby?

I see you are from Scottsburg. Coming into Loogootee on 50, make a right at the Marathon station. Go two blocks crossing the tracks, you will see the building on your right which has some wrecked vehicles around it. Make a right turn and you are there. He is closed on Sunday as this is a side business to others he has at this location. Parts of Dogwood has turned over. It is not the lake it used to be. Still find some crappie and the nine inch limit will help but gill and redear size is way off from a few years ago. Lake is low and stumps are very visable and vegetation is dying off.
