Glad you got out! Thanks for the report.
Caught up with chores at home so I thought I’d try.
Launched at Wooster ramp and immediately saw a film of skum at ramp.
Fished the idle zone even though it was full of anchored pontoons.
Only caught a few small stripes pulling jigs.
Went to the dam end of the lake and a few other of my spots but ended up just leaving because of heavy boat traffic. Had to stop at car wash to wash skum off boat and trailer.
Water temp was 90.5.
Still better than sitting on the couch!!

90.5 deg. dang that's hot for this time of year.
That what all 3 graphs read.
Trolling motor and 2 on stern.
Couple feet under surface.

Think there is any chance of catching fish at Monroe on Friday.
Had some buddies call an hour ago saying they were going.
They will be fishing for Green fish but I’ll take my own boat and Crappie fish.
Just wondering if it’s even worth getting out of bed. Lol

My opinion would be use your electronics to see if you can locate schools of crappie. From border states with same kind of weather we are experiencing, a few reports are catching crappie on jigs and some tipped with minnows fishing 12-15 ft deep in as much as 30’ of water in or around brush or structure like creek channel edges or ledges or some type of underwater structure like that. Check for a thermocline as fish will be above it also. Locate bait balls as feeding fish will be around them possibly also. Just have to experiment also.

Thank for the info.
They are all avid bass fisherman like I was a few years back.
One buddy has live scope so maybe he can locate me some crappie too.
I’ll probably do more searching than catching since I haven’t been to Monroe for 15 years or more and that was bass fishing.
