Don’t know where your getting your info. Average day has 150-200 boats min. coming and going off it daily from daylight to dark. and you only have approx 500 acres of fishable water. Campgrounds booked up also. Heavy weeds in back bays making them unfishable in places. Most all fish caught as super small now as it’s getting raped. And,,,it’s only going to get worse in time. .it has a severe algae problem they spent 27000.00 3-4 weeks ago spraying the East and west bays in hopes of getting rid of that won’t work also that is culmination of local farm runoffs that is incurable. 16.00 to launch and park.

Thanks for the update Chuck. I think if we had 2X the number of reservoirs we currently have, the fisheries would have a fighting chance. So sad they can't get a handle on the runoff farm waste from that area.

I hate to see anybody waste their money on Boggs. Wait till fall. Go to Monroe or Patoka for the same size fish and possibly bigger. At least you have enough water to distance yourself from others. Right now,,algae blooms showing up on the backwaters and swamp areas of the local Rivers due to lack of rain,,so I know it has to be present there. You probably won’t see a thermokline either due to the churned up water of the pleasure boaters and jet skiers besides all the fishing boats as well as Amish. If you think the Cat, Coon, Lemon, and Monroe is packed, think 5 times that on Boggs.

Fish it in late fall if you want,,when there is not as much boat traffic. However, for some reason it just doesn’t slow down much if any as on Jan 5th, 2020, 42 degrees,,,27 boats on the lake that day on a cloudy, windy day. I was running a new installed mega 360 testing a new toy out.
