    Default Decent day

Went bass fishing, ended up catching 5 with the biggest about 3 1/2.

Get out on a hump, kept seeing fish surfacing and thought they were crappie. Turned out I was right, caught 9 keepers (would've been 12, but I tried to horse 3 that were too big to horse) in a 1 1/2 hours. Biggest a bit over 12", and all of them the the thickest crappie I've caught all year. All of them were black crappie, which I think tend to be fatter.

Nice thing was I was using a jig bobber and only fishing about 4' down over 5-12ft. Wish I could've stayed, but the lake I was on got busy with people doing laps.Name: crappie.jpg

WTG! It’s one of those weekend holidays when you know you have to move over for the pleasureboaters. They seemed to be worse this year being off work and being locked down that everybody finally got out at the same time. Can’t much blame them or anybody as it’s been a painful past 8-9 weeks for all. Glad you had a good morning!

The crappie were eating something on the surface. Think I'm going to go back up in the morning and see if I can catch a few more.
