    Default Garmin Perspecvtive

Was wondering if any of you guys running livescope have done the perspective update, read on some other forums that there are some issues with bugs they need to fix, Garmin has not released the bracket for it yet, and i have seen where some people are making there own, I personally will wait for Garmin, and hope they fix the update by then. I hope my Active Captain app does not update it automatically, anyways any opinions on the new update and the perspective mode would be highly appreciated.

Time to bump this thread. I just purchased (haven't received) my panoptics transducer. If you have been using perspective mode, is it working for you? Is it worth the effort above the original view? I generally fish under 15 foot of water. I have heard that you need to adjust the angle about every time you move. Is this correct? All opinions are welcome and appreciated

I updated, no issues... Guess I'm in the minority. The perspective is cool, but without being able to distinguish depth, I only use it in shallow water. It's pretty sweet if you like to cast or spider rig. 95 % of the time I've got the transducer reading vertical, but I'd rather have my 10' jig pole in hand than anything else. Just really depends on what you like to do.
