    Default Camp Atterbury

My wife and will be fishing Camp Atterbury today. We won't be able to go early because of other obligations but will be there early afternoon.
We just need to get out and fish and enjoy the outdoors again. Temps maybe a little cooler helping us and the fish.

We will try Pisgah(SP) lake first if we can find a spot. Caught a couple of real nice Red Ear there about 6 weeks ago along with some decent blue gill.
If I could cast far enough from shore maybe a Crappie or two. I've been told the Crappie population is good and healthy.

I'll try for some pictures if we have luck, if not you'll have to take my word for it.Lol

It was a beautiful day to be out but the fish didn't think so. Lake Pisgah was covered in algae and the other spots we fished were so full of weeds that even when I caught a fish the weeds pulled it off.
    I did manage to land a 4" redear and a 3" bluegill.
    Sorry, no pictures.

That's one of the problems I always had at Atterbury. Stone arch sometimes is almost covered along with Pisgah. Have you tried the big lake at Driftwood? I've caught some decent fish there. And Sugar Creek has some smallies and cats.

    Thanks Chance
That is a nice size lake at Driftwood, we drove around it Saturday and couldn't find a decent place to pull over and fish, We both were wishing they would do a little more to clear some bank areas.
We have looked at Sugar Creek, nice looking stream.
