did a night trip to beat the heat. wasn't after crappie though. I haven't done that yet this year. I was hunting walleye. couldn't have asked for a better night. super cloudy light breeze couple lil rain showers. and the fish were on the feed! I got there at 730 and they were up on the breaks already. pitched plastic craw at them. caught several bass and walleye. kept 2 nice 17-18" eyes for dinner next day. the rest were just short of the 16" mark.

looks like a shadow but it not. one fish was deep hooked. I treat them to a ice water bath like all my other fish this time of year.
