    Default sunup slaughter

well not really a slaughter. lol got a couple days off so im making the best of it. i found the water high and muddy. probed several spots till i found some bigger chunks. found them in 6fow 3ft down. jigged them up with BG baby shads with shad scent on it. they wanted it swimming sideways or setting still. couldn't get them to go on the up n down game. fish a couple hours then headed home for some breakfast. kept 14 chunks. nothing over 14" today though.

Heck ya! The second pic, was tail gone when you threw it out or after she hit it?

still kinda slow acting. they really wanted it sitting still. if I bumped into cover a couple times then held it still id get a peck peck peck. sort of had to drop it, ever so slightly, when they pecked so they sucked it in. no toads today either. still stuck under that 14" mark. now more rain to muddy it up some more.

another sunup trip this morning. found lake high and stained. jigged twister in weeds and brush 8ft deep. really had to get it in their face to get bit. managed to keep 16 crappie and a bass no hogs but great way to kill couple hours and get a meal.
