    it was. caught on 14foot bnm trolling rod with 4 lb test. rod looked like an upside-down u. abu reel just whizzed from drag slipping.

    Nice catch! I love catching non-targeted species on crappie rods! Even though it usually results in a tangled mess. LOL
    Here's one we caught while trolling on the St Johns River down in Florida a couple winters ago...not as big as yours and we had on 6# test.
