    Default Quick trip before work

Got out for a couple hours before work yesterday morning. Flying solo in the kayak, water temps where 73-74. Couldnt buy a bite on jigs, just minners 5-6 foot under a float. All 9-12 except one small one that inhaled the hook. Fought the green carp like the plague. Off the water by 10 when a group of about 8 people showed up hooping and hollering around the bank for the holiday weekend.

I dont blame ya..but after 2 weeks not being able to fish I had to. Lol. And over 200 pits locally, I was lucky to get the couple hrs I got before I got run off. Luckily here its electric only so i ain't gotta worry about the big boats but still..

It is....most are small but that can be an advantage too. Then the kayak makes it even easier to get in and out. Or switch bc of fleas..
