We did fish the timber(we fished everywhere) and vertical jigged right beside the trees and never had a hit, will probably go back and give it another go here soon..
The fish are there. Try the upper 1/3rd of the lake and concentrate on the downed wood and standing timber. Have to fish tight to the cover in the stained water. You should find fish up to 12 to 13 inches with a bigger lunker here and there. Fish are there but the lake has a ton of bait so they don't have to work hard to find a meal.

A buddy of mine went down there memorial weekend & caught some nice ones. 5-6 ft of water around laydowns.

well definitely going to have to give it another try.
I was at Glen Flint last week on vacation. I caught a Crappie weighing 2.5 pounds, 16.5" long and 6" wide. Biggest Crappie I have ever caught.
You sure you were in Indiana ? Didnt know we had anything that big here. Great job though ! Any pictures ?

Friend of mine and his wife were at the Coon couple evenings ago, caught crappies with no problems, then got into chasing the boiling white bass feeding on top of the water catching a ton of them. White small spinner type baits with Curley tail plastics on the white bass and he mostly jigs for crappies.
