Nice indeed! Hope to get out more after the weekend. Did sneak out for a couple of hours to hook up with old friend for a couple of hours. Took a few to filet for him but nothing to brag about.

Where did ya get a small bucket like that? I’d like to find one that size. J/K. Nice slabs indeed! It’s that time of the year to take advantage of slabs like that.

this weather is going to mess fishing up for awhile, was at Raccoon Wed and water temps were down about 4 deg and water was very stained to kinda muddy in the idle zone area, we fished 3.5 hrs and caught 8 fish.. we caught those the 1st 10 minutes of fishing then never caught anything after, of course 18 mph winds gusting to 28 mph didn't help
Temps will be down even more after these cold nights and this rain were having now.
We did mark lots of fish on drop offs in 22-27 ft of water 15-20 ft down but it was so windy almost impossible to fish for them. We did manage 1 6 in crappie in 22 ft of water right off the bottom.
