    Default Neighbor's catch yesterday

I didn't go out yesterday because I thought it was too windy and the fish have just not been biting much. My neighbor lady did go out for a while. The big gill was 7.5 inches.

That's a nice mess of hard water panfish. More than enough to make some slaw, get the french fries out and get the grease hot.

I am kicking myself for not joining her. I was watching her occasionally, but couldn't tell she was catching anything. She is sly that way. All I had to do was to suit up and walk out my front door!

I am in Noble county. Monday it was 5 inches. I imagine it is thicker today since it got down to minus 18 last night and it is currently minus 14 at 12PM and the wind is strong. I won't be going out today to find out! It's supposed to get down to minus 19 tonight. I might drill some holes tomorrow when it is supposed to get all the way up to zero.
