    Default Frosty jigs

Long lined up a good mess today, 38 deg water temps. Purple and pink hair jigs, 13' to 18' deep on first ledge next to shallow water. Not a single fish caught going against the wind. Here's a couple of the better ones.

Figured slow had to be the name of the game in 38 degree H2O. Next few days is going to be brutal. I was up in Grand Rapids MI yesterday, 20 mph wind, blowing lake effect heavy snow and minus 20 chill factor. Ugly! Finished the wiring on the boat this morning so ready to check out all the electronics next time I get a chance but it will have to be last of Feb as tied up till then. WTG on the nice fish!

Nice job!! You should try Lake Egypt in Illinois, they have some dandys there. The wifey and I are heading to Florida Wednesday for the month, hope to hook up with some fellow crappie.com members while we are down there.

I've fished it quite a few times, it's a good fishery. I stay out of Illinois if I can help it though... Not a reciprocal state. Florida sounds pretty good right now.
