    Default raccoon 10/25

Caught 116 today and kept 34 nice ones, we sat in 1 spot and caught 100 in 3 hrs, the last couple hrs we only caught 16 as the bite slowed way down..lake looked to be down about a foot to foot and a half. Water temp was 58.5 to 60.6 deg.
Same deal 1/16 oz ball head jig w/curly tail grubs, starting out when cloudy fish were hitting as soon as it hit the water down to about 6 ft, then when sun came out starting catching them 5-7 ft deep in 13-22 ft of water. Sorry for fish in bucket pic but too tired to mess with a good pic.

Good report. Do you ever fish the lake once the draw down in done ? If so is it worth the time for a 2 hour drive

too be honest I never have, lady at main entrance to park the other day said the only place to launch is main boat ramp after draw down and that they have to clean mud from the ramp before it can be used.
I'm sure there are guys here who fish it usually I'm deer hunting from Oct 1st on but this year I decided to fish till end of Oct. then hunt.

When the draw down is over it is almost impossible to get a boat in unless its 1 you can carry.

I think Cataract only goes down about 3'. According to the webpage it's down 18" (if I'm reading it correctly).

No they do not do a complete draw down. You can launch there year round.
