    Default Kayak crappie

Well it's been a few weeks since I've got the chance to get out in the yak. But got out today for a few hours. One of the local public land strip pits. Went with a buddy and his 2 youngins. Them in his jon and me in the yak. Launched around 8. Got the kids set up and started and his 6 year old lands the first one in a matter of minutes to get the day going. We fished for maybe 4 hrs before the kids was through. Not alot of quantity but decent quality. I brought home 9 all over 9. He had about the same before his basket come open and ended up with 3, and wouldn't take none of mine with him. But all in all was a great day and even if they're not my kids, their smiles was all worth it

No pics of him or his family are included, in order to protect their privacy

Sounds like fun. Always good when you can get away with friends and enjoy the outdoors.

Good times buddy. Next time get permission for the pics. You know we love pics. Sad about losing the fish. I lost a basket full once, basket and all.

That's twice now it's happened to buddies of mine. And once with a metal stringer. Remember the pike trip in MI? Lol.
