    They will run about a foot deeper than the bandits and arkies when trolled. And I really think the , dimpled surface gives off more vibrations when moving in the water. If the fish are cranky, slather alittle Slab Sauce on them and it works as well. In this hot water and weather, increase your boat speed from 1.8 to 2.2 to keep the little fish from hitting it. Fish right now when in a feeding mood, strike with speed to feed and I find you will catch larger fish moving a alittle faster than spring time fishing. You can also cover more water with the increase of speed to find the fish. I also nailed 4 bass crankin yesterday with the largest about 2 lbs. The bass will hit any colors but the Mud Bug is the one they really tear up.
