    Default Monroe is Rocking.

I know a lot of you that fishes Monroe thinks it's alittle over the hill, but here is some proof that it still has good crappie as the In. Slab masters just had their tourney on it and I am posting their results on it. Several times this season, I have caught good crappie, just not the numbers you would like, but you can't always limit out like the past. Fish are still there and Monroe might just be on an upswing. Time will tell. Check the results out as 2 lb crappie was big fish and 10lbs had to be caught to win and that is after they spawned as well.

WTG Slabmasters! Pic of winners on home page. Home. Nice Indiana crappies in pic and of course, the winners!!!

Up, down, up, down, like a yo yo the lakes are, and back to muddy water fishing again. It's been quite the year for fishing. The wife's Lilly's changed totally different color first time for that ever. The reds are pink and her pink are red. Some of the flowers have way smaller blooming flowers on them, climatis is already turning brown too early. We have our yard full of ripe dropping wild cherries off the wild cherry trees already. And the other day was seeing flocks of sparrows and starlings already flocked up in the hundreds flying and feeding in cut hay fields like they were ready to go south. Bees are hitting the humming bird feeders way too early as they drive us nuts in Sept. not mid July. Crazy year of weather so far and it's alittle weird for sure with the wildlife.
