    Default What is your favorite?

What is your favorite way to crappie fish? Call me old fashion, but I enjoy watching a float slowly sliding down and away. It may be the mystery of the size of the crappie, or if in fact it is a crappie taking your bait. Could be the remembrance of days shared with my dad where he slowly guided me to adulthood. I love to feel the thump of swimming jigs and somewhat enjoy spider rigging or long lining too, but watching that bobber gets to me. What is your favorite method?

I also like to gill fish, love the way they hit and see the bobber go down. They take off like a train snagged the bait. LoL

I like a bobber dropped to jig on top hook and minnow on bottom. Nothing like watching that thing disappear....

Long lining jigs, roadrunners, or bandits. Just like the fact other fish are going to hit as well as crappies. Don't like to sit in one spot very long. Been working boat and gear over last 4 solid days and ready to rock and roll. Any way I can find and catch them works also.

Jig under a bobber is probably my favorite. I do like to float a minnow on occasion though as well.
