Default Anybody been to Missy since the rain ?

Thinking of going out tomorrow afternoon. Looks like they are hold back at the dam and the river is still a little high and muddy. These cold nights have probably slowed the bite and scattered the fish. Not sure where to try, maybe put the jon boat in and hit some coves. Anyone been out since sundays rain ?

Heading home from work, drove over the river on 15. Looks better, but still muddy. If we get the rain we are supposed to Saturday, could be bad for awhile yet...hope I'm wrong.

Was planning to go on Saturday but now there is an 80 percent chance of rain. Have not been there since the last rain. I'll probably try somewhere over there on Sunday. Let me know how it goes if you make it out tomorrow.

Well, they are still holding back at the dam, level is about 5' from summer pool and water is stained to slightly muddy. Was a slow afternoon, fish were scattered, managed 5 crappie and 4 white bass, all went back. I'm guessing after todays rain it will be at or above summer pool. I did see someone or DNR had sunk some x-mas trees on the east side of the dam, some were still out of the water.

Wasn't fishing today but did go over the dam. Lake looked pretty good, wish i could have been fishing. Saw 3 boats fishing the rocks at the dam. Going to try it on Saturday and see if there in there usual holes getting ready for spawn, lake should be at summer pool then.

Hit up river today, water was muddy and a little up but not bad. Cold nights have got the water temp at 57*. Bite was slow, managed 5 crappie and 3 white bass. Will likely try main lake this weekend. Really need a few warmer days to get the mushrooms and crappie action going.
