That does it....Slab, wilbur, and billbob are all gubers. Now that thats settled its time to go fishing You do not have to give locations etc. Just some helpful information like jigs or minnows, color, water temp, depth etc.
Maybe im too thin skined, but I dont think you have to post pictures every time you say you caught them to keep people from saying your a liar. I wasnt bragging I was just tying to let people know where to go and how to catch them because you had to do it a certain way or they wouldn't bite

I agree, you don't have to post pics. And I also agree that "G" is a guber too.
But here's my pic from Rend Lake anyway:
Caught using Gewbers btw: Gewbers jig enhancing scented bait
Gewbers helped cause the bite was so soft last week.

I don't crappie fish all that much, maybe 15 trips a year. I've noticed when I've posted specific areas I'm catching fish, it is suddenly crowded in those areas when it wasn't before. If I make a report, I'll give out depth information and color information, but usually not specific on where. Lot of lurkers out there, and I don't like fishing in crowds. If someone pm's me I'll usually help them out.
I know the tournament guys get mad if someone points out where they are catching fish. Crappie fishing is becoming more like bass fishing with the tournaments these days.
Never fear Slab, there is still a lot of good in your web site to draw us in....just not in the Indiana forum. My favorites are the mechanics forum and contributors like barnacle bill and catfan (I'll forgive him for being a KY fan and living in Indiana), the electronics forum with people like rnvinc and kosmo, and the jig tying forum is awesome. The Mississippi thread on trolling crankbaits was epic. I know I will get chastised for saying this , but the Indiana forum went downhill with the creation of the Indiana slabmasters as this is undoubtedly has drawn the best crappie fishermen in the state, and they pretty much don't do any posting anymore unless it is to hawk their tournaments, sponsor's products, or sell guide services or something like that. I realize how the tournament game is played. Team9nine gets my vote for some of the best informative Indiana posts...from a fishing technique standpoint. As for me, I am trying to figure out those elusive Indiana walleye. And...btw...all the insider gewber talk doesn't really add to this thread .

Them boys in the Indiana Slab Masters are super double top LOL J/J If you ever come to the tournaments, I promise you it's not as tight lipped as you may think. To be very honest, the ISM group just calls each other to share information because many are friends now. I can also tell you this, I send many people to this site, but just like you said HHD, its the other sections within CDC that add the real value to this site. I'll even take it a step further, and say if you just used the search function, you'll have a hard time saying something that has been said a 100 times. You don't have to read to much into it... and it's not about being tight lipped, its about the members becoming friends and using a different platform of communication to communicate.
