Well I think we are starting to see that shift on some of our public waters, The INDNR this year for 2017 just put a 9 inch limit on Dogwood Lake and also Hardy Lake, I believe if we continue to voice our concerns we will see continued progression towards this goal. Im with you...I would love to see larger quality fish along with some added structure to some of these public lakes for us slab fisherman.

Do you fish dogwood a lot? I used to fish it with my grandfather years ago. Does it still have the maze of timber out past the main boat ramp? Does it have a motor limit?

    Still got the timber.
No motor size limit now, speed limit is 10 mph.
No, Don’t fish it much any more as it’s hammered especially by amish.
Size limit for crappie on Dogwood doesn’t mean much when DNR is not there a lot to enforce it of which is just my opinion.
Good luck on Dogwood as again it’s my opinion only, but you will need it.
