Thread: Sally and Missey lake report

Both are at summer pool and still a little stained. Getting around 66*-67* yesterday. I tried up river and caught a bunch of dinks and a few white bass. Going to try Missy Sat or Sun if the thunder storms hold back.

Sally is muddy to stained up to hwy 9 bridge water after bridge looks good temps ran from 65 to 68

Got ran off Missy today from the stupid storms. Only got about a half hour of fishing in and it was slower then heck. Storms probably played a part. Caught 1 dink. Lake looks good. May try in the morning if the weather clears up. Sure is a lot of small crappie this year in Missy, at least in my experiences anyway. Haven't had a good day of fishing there all year. Keep hoping the next time it will all change though.

I sat through the storm for awhile then decided to go home, after I was soaking wet!!! Drove right through the middle of the storm, not a bright idea to say the least, but on the positive side I got to use my bilge pump and it works...(from the rain not water splashing in) Prior to the first little rain drops I looked at the radar and it was only a little storm, but it obviously blew up right on top of Missy!

Anyway, did decent before the storm. I never got a chance to count them as I was busy catching fish, then when I got home I didn't have time to clean so I filled the bucket w water and threw the hole bucket in the locker to clean when I got home. Then it was raining when I home from that so the fish are probably frozen solid by now. LOL Fish were high on the banks, in the middle, pretty much all over! Water was stained and 65-67 Degrees.

Heading to Sally this afternoon if the weather holds out. Give me a shout if you wanna meet up on Sally.

Went out this morning, as stated water was slightly stained and 66*. Didn't do to bad , caught around 20 or so , however all but three were less than 9 inches. Saw quite few people fishing catching smaller ones also. Seems I just can't get on the bigger crappie this year. Going to try Sally tomorrow or up river Missy, depends on weather.

I finally got on some bigger fish this morning, but had to sort threw a ton of dinks. 2 of us had 31 keepers with 15 being 10 inches and over. Took us an hour to get the first keeper but once i found where they were at it was pretty good. Fished in a cove, 2 feet off the bank about 2 foot deep around submerged brush. May try it again tomorrow.

Boy and went to missy brung home 10 crappie 10 to 12" long ton of dinks never seen so many 6" crappie we were fishing 4 to 6 foot deep in 15 fow water temp past somerset bridge was 70 at 5pm
