We are having our 1st annual open tournament on Saturday July 19 at Tanner's Creek on the Ohio River. The Tournament includes the entire Markland Pool! If you are a member, I urge you to attempt to show up for this tournament! This is one of our most important events we have had at ISM! If you have never fished the Ohio River Tributaries you are really missing out! There is every kind of water you can think of from standing timber, docks, stumps, blow down/ lay downs, weeds, and many other types of structure. If you thought going down to the Ohio River meant it is a far trip, it is only about a 2-hour drive from Indianapolis. Plenty of Parking, if you don't want to go out on the river?, you can go up Tanner's Creek 10-miles +, There are over 15 creeks to fish, and every one is loaded with our best crappie in the state! Our sponsorship for our club will be seriously helped for next year if you will participate in this tournament. We would also like to have a Classic in this area. Hotel very close to the ramp and reasonably priced! Plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping, and Casino. The heat does not negatively affect the fishing, Crappie fishing is better in this area in the summer than almost any time of the year. Details for this tournament below or go to:

Sign up times: July 19 - 5:30am-6:00am

Start Fishing Time: 7:00am (Telephone or GPS time)

Stop Fishing Time: 3:00pm (Telephone or GPS time)

Weigh Line Opens: 4:00pm
Weigh Line Closes: 4:30pm

All Times Eastern Standard Time

Entry Fee: $115.00 ($90.00 entry + $25.00 big fish pot)

90% Payback of Collected Tournament Fees
100% Payback of Big Fish (plus big fish plaque)

Payback and Rules will be same as club rules

$500.00 Additional Bonus for
Highest Placing Team Not using Live Bait
Teams must declare at registration that they are not using live bait
(Boat and Vehicle Inspection for live bait)

You may trailer to any ramp
after sign-up

Plaques awarded to the Top 3 teams and big fish
Crappie Zilla offering an additional $100.00 bonus for anyone winning and using his baits
Lake Fork is offering a additional products for the highest placing team using their products
$500 Bonus for highest placing team not using live bait
