    I am looking for a good place to take my family crappie fishing, They live in Wheatfield IN.I was looking at cedar lake, bass lake or maxinkockee, thank you for any help

    Well I guess you guys ain’t got no good crappie up there, that’s to bad but I can let you know if you come down here where you can go to catch slabs ( that is big crappie)

    I think Maxinkuckee or Bass Lake even Pine Lake are all good options...Willow Slough has not only been giving up good crappies, but slab gills are being taken too...crappies are being caught on minnows and artificial baits, with Wackem and Stackem Baits being to top performer at this time.
    Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.
