Had the pleasure of fishing Cataract Lake on Christmas Eve with two very good friends. It was the first time in my life that I have fished on Christmas Eve. I knew we would catch crappie but was very surprised how good the bite was. The water temp in the 40's with very little wind and over cast sky. A very warm day middle 50 to 60. In the first hour the three of us together had put 50 in the boat. By the end of the day we had caught 102 crappie not counting the ones we lost. Most of these crappie were nice size with some that would push a pound plus. We did not keep any fish, cleaning fish on Christmas Eve may not go over with the wife. LOL Had to be one of the best Christmas Eve's of my life. Thanks to my fishin buddy's!!!!
good day
