    Default What depth?

Haven't been out for a bit. Where are you finding the crappie lately?

At Evergreen, the crappie were scattered on flats. Suspended 15 to 20 ft over 25 to 30 fow. Other similar lakes in the area should be the same.

Can you target saugeye at Evergreen or are they more of a bonus fish when trying for crappie or bass? Is any one time of year better for saugeye? Are there many keeper saugeye?

    Banjo...
Muskie, saugeye, and white bass are the common targets aside from crappie. I have caught all the mentioned while crappie fishing. Many large as well as state record saugeye in Evergreen.
For saugeye I'm not sure if time of year is as important as time of day. They come shallow on points and flats at dusk and dawn to feed mainly but still can be caught deeper during the day.
