    would the guy driving the boat be checked for fishing license. I always wondered how can a conservation officer could check you for license in the parking lot

    Why not work to try to do away with the rule that says you only get so many rods ?

    What is their great fear ?
    Maybe they will bite this one……

    I think the fear is too many people will stay in this state so they try to influence that. Some of the recreational laws here are so outdated that it's just crazy.

    There is no problem with A or B provided both people in the boat land fish. Rotate the retrieve of each caught fish and you avoid issues.

    IDNR stands on the bank with binoculars and watch. They know the answer before asking you the question.

    If fisher driving the boat is not within arms reach of at least one pole then fisher two is in harms way with the law as written. My opinion only
